    substituting White Labs #400

I have some White Labs California Ale Yeast WLP001 that I washed and would like to use up. I really want to brew BierMuncher's Blue Balls Belgian Wit but the recipe calls for White Labs #400. Can I substitute the WLP001 for the 400 and get similar results? Thanks
