Hi all, Quick question about bottling. I'm making Malkore's mead as a party favor and plan on bottling into 1/4 wine bottles. I was going to cap with crowns rather than a cork. Do I need to worry about creating bottle bombs for my guests? Thoughts?

Have you made those before? How'd they turn out, if so? I just made one with cherry, blueberry and cider and added brown sugar, honey and apple juice concentrate. Result = no good, too medicinal. So I'm anxious to make another for the wife. Thanks!
