    I'm getting ready to buy a couple burners. I'm going to use sanke kegs for brewing. With the keg being 15 1/2" wide would the Kab4 with a 17" surface be a safe enough span vs the Kab6 which has a 22" surface being overkill. Thanks!

    Hey all, I just did my first saison and didnt realize the window of opportunity for the 3711 yeast is certain months. What I would like to know is how often I can reuse this strain and what is the method of getting in ready for reuse from the primary?

    Hey all, steeping grains atm, I'm making Gold Digger Blonde, 10gls. recipe says 5AAU's, I am using Mt Hood at 5.1% and have two oz. is that enough? thanks a ton,,Deanerator

    SNPA clone confused

    Hey all, I have a recipe here and it calls for 4oz 40L crystal malt and 2oz of melanoidin malt= 6oz of grain. It proceeds to say, crack grains and mix this way; 1 lb grain per 1 1/2 qts water,,,,,, does this sound like enough grain? What would my water for steeping have to be??? thanks much

    Lids For My Keggles

    Hey all, I have two kegs that need converted, I plan on making a 12"opening. My third keg was used as a cooker and the top was cut at 14", what was left they bent it up so there is no ledge for a lid. -----Do all three kegs need lids for single tier? Or should I try and bend the lip back...

    Wort Loss During Blow-off!

    Hey all, just did a batch of Russian Imperial Stout, I use a 1" blow off system and it got pretty crazy, looks like about a 1/2 to 1gallon wort loss, is there a certain time I can replenish this or is it just gone? Thanks,, Deanerator

    Greets all, I am as green as a gardeners thumb and thats Ok. I think this is my calling so to speak. I have a spare fridge in the garage thats crying for corny's, (pepsi type) whats the best avenue to go for these? thanks for help:rockin:
