    Not a concern of mine either...I bought 4 kegs off of eBay between $35-$65 a piece.

    They are the property of the brewery, it is a vessel to transport a beverage to a consumer and new they cost anywhere from $100 - $130. Why would they want to give them away for a merely little fee of $30? Do the math...

    Since they are the property of the beverage companies, I would start there to obtain one legally. There are companies that will sell you brand new kegs...they are a bit pricey though.
