Bought some canned extract at the brew store for 15$ that makes 5 gallons. This product comes from England. Still scratching:confused::confused::confused: my head on how 15 bucks can make 5 gallons. Instructions say only boil for 5 minutes???? Is this product ant good?

Gravity was taken after the wort was combined with the extra 3 gallons. The wort itself was aprox. 70 . Maybe the added gallons were on the cool side but I cant imagine to cold. :off:I used spring water from PA. I think this was a mistake because when i tasted it , it had that plasticy taste. I...

Ale kit called for a 1.50 og , weird, because i added an extra pound of dme to get a higher gravity and still got a 1.50 instead of a higher gravity. It did say to start the wort with 1.5 gallons and instead i put 2 full gallons. I hope i dont get a weaker beer. Any theories on why i still got...

My house usually stays at 68. I am following a recipe from Clone Beers. The recipe does call to ferment from 70-72 . Maybe time to buy a aquarium heater?Do you know how long you have to ferment the damn thing before you could guzzle?. Thanx in advance

Gentleman, I was wondering if anyone has any tips on brewing my first strong Belgian ale. I am using Abey ale yeast from white labs. Is a blow off a must any tips on not to have a stuck ferm. Much appreciated . Guzzler
