New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Thanks for the recipe, Braufessor! I'm drinking the first bottle right now. I haven't had Heady Topper or Hill Farmstead, so I can't compare it to that. However, it tastes incredibly close to Treehouse's Julius. I did make a couple changes out of necessity. I used White Lab's Burlington and I...

    15 Year Old Grain

My Grandfather used to run a home brew shop in the early 90's. So every time I visit, I raid his basement. I got a lot of good stuff to get started(carboy, buckets, capper, grain mill...). This time around I found a box with different bags of grains. All of them are sealed. The flaked maize is...

Victory Hop Devil (partial mash) comments-suggestions?

This is going to be my first Partial Mash. I just built a mash tun out of a 2 gallon cooler w/ a stainless steel braid(followed the Wiki). It is a variation on a Victory Hop Devil recipe. A guy at my LHBS helped me put it together and substitute some ingredients they didn't have in stock. I...

    Hello From Massachusetts!

Any of you older folks remember a store in the Leicester/Worcester(Cherry Valley) area called Valley Hops and Malts? It was around in the early to mid 90's. That was my Grandfather's store.
