The website shows that the top shelf capacity is 485 lbs, and lower shelf is 297 lbs. You would be well under its limits. If I was closer to Marietta, I’d take it off your hands. It’s about an hour drive one way for me though, pretty much kills the $20 savings in time/gas.

Communication is key on something like this if you truly want them. Getting help to load them on his end can usually be arranged fairly easily. I would ask the OP if there’s an option of paying a neighbor friend or son 20 bucks or so to help lift the 2 quickly into a truck. It would be money...

One last link..this one has a pretty good video. They’re self contained, temp controlled fermenters that can be served from, or you can bottle or keg from them. If they’re not gone by this weekend, it might be road-trip time for me! 😆 Link <<

I believe there’s only one picture posted. The fermenters are made to serve from. Can’t believe these aren’t gone yet!! OP states they’re fully functional! I know there’s got to be someone in his area that could use a nice “free” upgrade! 😎

Lots of questions that could be asked here.. How old was the bleach? How big is the fermenter and how big of a batch did you transfer into it? Did you allow the bleach solution to dry before using the equipment? The active ingredient in most household bleach, sodium hypochlorite, will slowly...

Here‘s an update just in case someone happens to find themselves in a similar situation. The batch has matured nicely, it’s been right around a month now. By the numbers, it finished out around 7%.. doesn’t seem to be that hot though when drinking. It’s nice and smooth with a great flavor...
