    Density decreases but no bubbles

    I had the same issue. As mentioned, the bubbler is leaking. What I did was take a piece of plastic bag (like from a grocery store, cut it larger than your carboys opening and make a smaller hole for the bubbler to go through. Essentially using the piece of plastic as a gasket.
