    another water question

    So am i better off using my tap water (high is all areas) half tap water and half filtered water or all filtered water and add some buffer 5.2? Is it easyier to adjust my own water or start with pure water and add some things to it?

    finally feel like a pro

    so Saturday I bottled my 4th batch, and I feel like a one man assembly line! I have figured out how to put the bottling wand into one beer while capping the one before it and then grabbing the one filling before it overflows! Doing two things at once, has made mt bottling time way less!

    brewing/bottling/transferring to secondary/bottle cleaning day!

    so saturday I brewed an all grain double chocolate stout, bottled a Belgium dubble, cleaned 50 bottles, transferred my phat tyre to a secondary, and tried to restart my braggot. I am freaking tired!

    First all grain

    So today I brewed my first all grain. I got 68 % effeciancy ( spelling?). I need a new thermometer!!!!! The turkey fryer had a hard time boiling 7gal. I only lost 1gal! But I learned alot and will do better next weekend (double chocolate stout!!!)

    Ok everyone, how much water do you normaly loose in your one hour boil? I am about to do my first all grain, and just wanted to get an estament on how much wort to start with. I have a 7.5 alluminum pot and turkey fryer propain burner.

    can't drink for at least two weeks!!!!!!!

    well, I am having my tonsils taken out on friday so that means no beer for awhile :( i just bottled my hefe and my irish red is done in a week and I just got in my stuff to brew a doubble! So needles to say, I am in a big hurry to get the surgery and them get better FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    stuck braggot?

    ok, so I brewed some braggot on the 24th and it fermented like crazy within 12 hrs. Now a week later, it looks as if it has stoped fermenting! like one bubble a min. Is that normal or is it stuck?
