    Belgian Wit Hops Schedule Advice

T-58, the "T" stands for "trappist" so I think this yeast will be ok for a Belgian-style beer. WB-06 is the more appropriate strain from Fermentis as the "WB" stands for "Wit Bier." As far as hops go, forget the Cascade hops and stick with the German hops and use only a bittering addition...

Bodatious Oatmeal Russian Imperial Stout clone attempt

I can't give you the exact recipe, but I'll give some tips... There's no Flaked barley, Munich malt, Brown sugar, molasses, or milk sugar (it's an oatmeal stout, not milk stout) in BORIS. Belgian Pale malt is inappropriate as well. This recipe might also benifit from Black patent and...

    Homegrown Nugget Hops

Not just a photograph, but aroma and a picture would give someone with good hop knowledge a better chance at figuring it out. Post a picture of a mature cone anyway and see what you get.

    Food dehydrators and hop drying

This is an old post but given the time of year I feel a reply is appropriate. As far as food dehydrators go - commercial hop farms dry their hops with 140*F air. No significant lupilin degradation has been found at temps <180*. The biggest problem associated with home dehydrators is the...
