    Chilling Options

    with a bit of plumbing you could tee off the cold water line under your sink and add a hose tap under the sink. (however landlord may have an issue with that). However, it's easier probably to buy a circulation pump in the sink, I used that for a bit, just took a bit longer than off the tap.

    Boiled my racking tube. No longer clear.

    I bought a little giant pump that I hook onto the tubing and circulate pbw or oxyclean through. Works like a charm and takes no work at all. However, I broke like 3 of those canes in a row trying to take the tubing off, so I decided to finally upgrade to a stainless cane.

    notty package showed up hard as a rock

    I just used one of these packs last weekend. First time I used notty in a few years. Hydrated as instructed and reached terminal gravity in 4 days. I was happy. and yes it was hard like a vacuum pack of coffee until sliced open.

    You may have a hard time finding that now. It was a VSS strain available in the summer. Most retailers are sold out for the season. For Canadian brewing sites check out the "Canadian Brewers" group in the group section of HBT. They list quite a few of the online shops available to us...
