    Sanatize Vanilla Bean question

    Going to be adding a vanilla bean and cinnamon stick to my pumpkin ale when fermentation ends. My question is should I soak them in vodka to santize them or is ok to just put them in the bucket when fermentaion ends? Thanks Mike

    Brown Hops

    Cider not sweet and to dry

    Saaz intead of Hallertau for Dunkle weizen?

    Brewing a Dunlkeweizen the recipe call for .5 oz of Hallertau 6% which I thiought I had but what I have is Saaz 3%. Will this be a good sub???

    Fermentation to warm now have off flavor

    Brewed a Summit EPA and the fermentation got way to warm 78 degrees. It was at that temp for a good day. Moved it to a cooler romm but when I tasted it last night it had an off flavor and smell.     All grain partial boil

    Is it possable to do a partial boil using all grain? The problem I have is my well that use to chill full boils dryed up. So i was wondering if I mash and collect 3gallons of wort,boil,cool and than top off in the fermenter would it be ok? Any draw backs from doing this? Mike

    Hop subsitution

    Is there a chart that tells you what hops you can use to replace another? The recipe I want to brew calls for centenial and cascade. I have the cascade but no centenial. I have fuggle, liberty,columbus and wilament. thanks
