Just brewed a 10gal all grain version of this. Last time I did the 5gal extract version, it turned out well... hopefully this does as well.

How did you get the intricacy of the cutout on the vinyl? Ive done some of these before, but with painters tape & was not able to get very detailed designs

Just built the cleaner - worked great. Much easier than using a keg filled with cleaner to fix the lines.

I use something similar... I have a 'calibrated' dowel rod for each of my kettles, & measure that way. Not entirely exact, but its good to 1/4gal or so... easy & cheap

I made a close copy of the AG version a while back & just opened a few. I subbed in centennial for the simcoe & added a little extra in the boil on the hops, turned out great. A little dark for guballhead, but still an excellent beer.

The only smoked one I attempted was a smoked proter with about 60% smoked... If I were to re-do it, I would back it off below 50% & use something other than briess for the malt - it ended up way too smokey & phenolic in the beginning. The smoke has mellowed out quite a bit (2months later) & it...
