    I did 50gallons of home pressed hard cider again this year. Considering the work, we only did 1/2 one day. I added the campden, following day yeast. Everythings fine. The next day I did another 25 gallons, added the campden but waited 4 days. Then added the yeast. 2 days later, no activity...

    When to add sugar in the primary?

    Most of my cider I don't use sugar to bump the ABV, but this year I will on a couple carboys. My question is this, is there any urgency to add dextrose with the yeast, or is it fine enough to let it bubble a way a few days then add the sugar? I say, that as I haven't picked up the sugar...
