    thx, i think i'll roll with the glass carboy and just use the plastic bucket to dump extra sanitizer to soak the different smaller pieces. i'll wrap a blanket around it to keep the sun away from it.

    hey, brewed and kegged a stout. primary fermentation 10 days... 7 days in keg kept around 40 degrees at 10psi... tasted it, not bad but maybe a bit homebrewy and green and low on carbonation... 3 more days at 12psi... tasted it, not much better and still low on carbonation. am i being too...

    don't have a vise. mebbe it's time i got one. i think what i'm gonna do is bring the regulator with me when i go fill up my co2 tanks and ask those guys if they can remove it.

    cup of grains, tsp of ground cinnamon sound like a good amount? this is just some practice recipe here using some mr. beer 2 gallon kit thing but still want to drink something after i'm done :)

    ok it's flaked barley. right, mr beer is like 2-2.5 gallons. i think what I'm gonna do is just throw in a teaspoon of cinnamon and then throw a cup of barley in some bag thing i have and boil it for 30 min and then yank it. that sound good? cinnamon, barley, stout, alcohol whatever it's mr beer.
