    Thanks, maybe that's it, you're right the flavors are clashing between the toast notes of the dark malts and the sourness. I'll post some pics tomorrow, and try it again to check how it is blending together

    Really only 100 gallons? that's around 10 5 gallon brews, I have that same one and have been using it for around 200 gallons maybe (?) I'll check my filter condition and order a new one soon.
