Bucket Blaster Pump and PVC Pipe Threads: BSP or NPT?

I occasionally repurpose my bucket blaster to create a recirculating draft line cleaning setup, with the help of Bobby's awesome npt to ball lock adapter. I'm curious, however, if the bucket blaster pvc pipe is 1/2" bsp or npt. It all fits together pretty well, but I suspect I've been mating two...

Do I need a washer for my nitrogen tank + regulator?

That's reassuring! Doesn't seem right, but if it works, it works.

Do I need a washer for my nitrogen tank + regulator?

Thanks for the follow up, day_trippr! Interesting that not all CGA 580 stems come with the built in gasket. I'll go ahead and give it a try without a gasket, and see if it leaks. Cheers!!

Do I need a washer for my nitrogen tank + regulator?

I'm new to the nitro game, and I noticed there isn't a built in gasket on my regulator, unlike my co2 regulator. I understand CGA valves don't require teflon tape, and therefore rely on a gasket to form a seal, so I'm curious what the best practice is for nitro tanks and regulators. Here's the...

Duotight Locking Clips: Install before or after connecting tubing?

Does order of operations matter? I'd like to have a bit of extra security on the gas side of things.

Nukatap Counter Pressure Bottle Filler Threads: BSP or NPT?

Thanks, yesfan! That is a handy attachment, I totally forgot they made that! Definitely worth having for multiple purposes. Right now I'm trying to dial in my bottle conditioning process using a nukatap filler and prepurged kegs (with priming sugar solution added pre-purge). I connect a faucet...

    Stainless push connect fittings?

I went with the aliexpress ones. So it'll probably be a few weeks until they arrive and I can evaluate the quality. Kegland should have had these from the beginning!

Bucket Blaster improvement for cleaning carboys?

I've noticed there should really be some sort of spacer on the hard metal frame of the bucket blaster when one is cleaning carboys. You can hear microscratches happening every time you put a carboy on the metal frame, it's simply too rough on the glass. Especially if you're cleaning a full size...

Nukatap Counter Pressure Bottle Filler Threads: BSP or NPT?

Does anyone know the thread type for the Nukatap Counter Pressure Bottle filler? I'd like to use this 1/4" NPT Male to 1/4" MFL Male Flare Adapter from brewhardware.com, however I suspect the Nukatap has bsp threads rather than npt. Maybe I can just use some teflon tape or a gasket to ensure a...

Using a NEMA 10-30 outlet to power a Hotrod equipped with a 5500 watt element: Can it be done?

Using a NEMA 10-30 outlet to power a Hotrod equipped with a 5500 watt element: Can it be done?

The L6-30 is on the hotrod, while the 10-30 outlet is what I assume to be an old drier outlet. It says 30 Amps .and 125V/250V on the outlet.

Using a NEMA 10-30 outlet to power a Hotrod equipped with a 5500 watt element: Can it be done?

Can I make this happen if I use this adapter? https://www.amazon.com/10-30P-L6-30-Receptacle-PRIMECOM-TECH-Charger/dp/B07Y724BY7?th=1 Of course, there's no GFCI on the 10-30 outlet, which isn't ideal. Sadly, I'm a renter, so this is my only option to upgrade to 240v. Any thoughts would be...
