Adding coffee to Breakfast Stout, help needed.

Thanks for the heads up. I think this is the route I'm going to go. 3 oz of coarse ground Kona, 3 oz of coarse ground Sumatra(maybe something else not sure about Sumatra right now), in separate muslin bags with marbles, added to the fermented during cold crash, pulled after 40 hours. Essentially...

Adding coffee to Breakfast Stout, help needed.

I trust that the Kona I purchased is good Kona as I know my roaster pretty well. However, even if it's isn't, it tastes great, so I'm happy. So what levels did you end up going with?

Adding coffee to Breakfast Stout, help needed.

ahhh crap, dilution.... dilution had completely slipped my mind. With that in mind I think I might go with the wrap them in extra fine muslin, weigh them down with marbles, and pitch them into "secondary" method. Thanks for the heads up.

Adding coffee to Breakfast Stout, help needed.

Does anyone know if it's possible using Fermentrack with a Tilt to have the software make temperature changes based off the current Tilt SG reading? IE: Say we have an OG of 1.050 and we set starting fermentation temp to 50F. When Tilt reports an SG of 1.031 (50% complete), have Fermentrack...

Ace Roto 5 gallon cone bottom fermentation tank?

Has anyone used one of these Ace Roto five gallon rinse tanks as fermentation vessel? If so, thoughts/experience? I know there are several companies out there that make brewing specific small conicals, but nothing in the 5 gallon size...

Intertap Stout Spout vs Stout Faucet

Very good to know. Not a huge worry though as I always spray my taps out with StarSan and use tap covers like these.

Intertap Stout Spout vs Stout Faucet

Awesome! Those were my thoughts exactly. From what I could tell from the exploded diagrams of faucets like the Micromater the parts inside the Interact seemed to be VERY similar from the threads down (restrictor, o-ring, and shape of spout itself). Was just hoping there weren't any of the other...

Intertap Stout Spout vs Stout Faucet

Hi Guys, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience comparing the new Interntap Stout spout like these : Directly to a dedicated stout faucet like this: Both on nitro, and if so what were the results? Is the head created by the Intertap even close to dedicate stout faucet?
