    Where to go in Nashville?

I'll be in Nashville tonight through Saturday. Any bars/breweries/etc. I shouldn't miss? I'll be in a hotel about half a mile from the Flying Saucer so I might not make it anywhere else, but I'd appreciate suggestions.

A Blonde Ale of sorts - seem reasonable?

I'm still doing extract brews, but will be moving to full boils with this batch. I'm also still getting used to building my own recipes. I'm not really shooting for a particular style here, but I selected Blonde Ale in Beer Smith as a guide for the numbers. I'm also considering dry hopping with...

    NVIDIA 9400M & games?

I should maybe go to a hardware forum, but I figured I'd check here before signing up somewhere else. Besides, I figure I'll at least be better off than that guy looking for a Realtor. Anyway, I've been wanting to build or buy a media center computer for a while now. I don't need it for DVR...

    Serving temp & pressure compromises

I'm nearly finished with my two tap kegerator and I currently have two kegs chilling and carbing - one of Apfelwein and one of a Pyramid ESB clone. I have a dual regulator so I'm wanting to carb the Apfelwein at 4+ volumes CO2 while keeping the ESB much lower - probably 2 volumes. Right now...

    Cascade/Extra Light DME SMaSH advice

I was lucky enough to recently get a pound of Cascade (4.6% AA) pellets and, as a home brew beginner, I want to use them in a SMaSH to get an idea of their flavor/aroma. I'd appreciate any comments/advice regarding this recipe, which is sort of shooting for a blonde ale (I think): 2 lb Extra...

    Hi from SE Missouri

Hi, everybody! So I've been hanging around here for a while, learning a lot, occasionally sticking my nose in other people's business. I figured I should officially say hello. I'm living in Cape Girardeau, MO and am getting back into brewing. My sister bought me a beginner's kit a few...

    kegerator conversion questions

Hi, everybody. I'm new here, new to kegging, and pretty new to brewing in general. Received a starter kit for my birthday one year and I've done a couple all extract batches, but it's been a while. I'm moving into a house soon and plan on getting back into brewing, eventually moving to all...
