A million is just not much any more. I’m out, unless I can get a new step filter.

I think opted for the longer turn around nailed check. Can’t remember if I got it yet or not.

I traded mine in for $600. All I had to send back was the mother board. So I have all the parts too, except the board. I wonder if there is a market? I was thinking of using the pump as a transfer pump. Idk.

Hmmm. It has to get out of the screens of the step filter, not get sent to th in-line screen, pass through a couple sets of ball locks and then a tap. Can’t say I have.

thanks. Hard pass here. Literally nothing easier than grinding coffee and going to bed. Presto cold brew. But I’m a pretty simple guy.

So I just got my last freebee from pico for the Z purchase. In it was a pound of coffee and a mesh bag along with 16 step instructions for making cold brew with the Z. Now I know some of the steps are “push the start button” simple but still... making cold brew with the immersion process is as...

Interesting ‘benefit’. For me doing something else other than watching, adjusting, stirring, adding, etc is the big benni of the automatics. I love that my hands on real time brew days can’t be more than an hour grind to cleanup.

Very cool. . Would love reports on ‘grind-to-cleanup’ or ‘brew-to-tap’ ease and time invested for each unit. Efficiency, meh. It means so little to the small batch home brewer as a 1/2 pound or so of grain seems to make up for most anything. So while it is academically interesting, I don’t...

Wow. That looks nearly impossible in a plastic bucket filled with recirculating hot water for 90 minutes. But there it is. Did you have the drain plug in the back of the step filter that separates the grain from the hops installed?

On the way to a local brewery last week I stopped by their offices (after hours) and peaked in the loading dock window. The entire floor of the room was stacked full of what appeared to be Z’s ready to ship. Got a feeling all will be well soon. :)

For sure! I never really thought about that. I wonder if they do that. With all of the news of people relying on reviews etc and now the news of fake reviews etc, that makes perfect sense that some companies would. My Zymatic worked mostly flawlessly until it reached what it appeared to...

I will generally disagree. You are seeing cherry picked results. Put it this way, if there was a Forum in marriage, nobody would ever get married.

Lol. brewed on the Z yesterday. Pushed the button, marinated some tuna, mowed the lawn and the the wife and I took a motorcycle trip and did some wine tasting. Got back and the brew was done. My total z hands on time is maybe 60 minutes from grain grinds and hop measurement through cleanup...
