    What stage to introduce oak/other flavors?

    I want to try oaking an upcoming batch, but I'm not sure at what stage I should add it. Toss it in the cider, and remove before fermenting? Toss it in the fresh cider when I pitch my yeast? Add it to the secondary after I rack off the primary to clear?
