    6 Tap Igloo FRF1050 10.6 CU Build

They are all pin locks with the lids replaced for pressure relief. Pin locks are shorter but have a larger diameter than balls so it will fit 6 of either. Good Luck!

    6 Tap Igloo FRF1050 10.6 CU Build

Nope the lid has the thick plastic/rubber seal, but no hump. Mine sits flush and has good seal.

    6 Tap Igloo FRF1050 10.6 CU Build

There are different opinions on this, but for a home setup the 10' lines seem perfect. I get next to no extra foam between the 10' lines and the recirculating fan along with good insulation.

    6 Tap Igloo FRF1050 10.6 CU Build

Sorry for the late reply, I just realized all my emails from the list were ending up in my spam box. I like it a lot, after some trial and error i found that immersing the probe in 1/2 a gallon of water is about the right volume so i get smooth temperature cycles. I am on for about 20 minutes...

    6 Tap Igloo FRF1050 10.6 CU Build

Sorry for the late reply, I just realized all my emails from the list were ending up in my spam box. The inner collar is flush with the freezer and is 8" high. The outer is 10" high so it hangs 2" over the freezer, this helps with the insulation but was mainly done to lock the collar in place...

    6 Tap Igloo FRF1050 10.6 CU Build

Thanks! The CO2 lines are 3' each and the beer lines are 10' each. I have the beer lines zip tied in a loop to make them a little more managable.

    Anyone use a table?

I use a stainless table myself, I felt a lot better about the quality from the web restaurant store table then I did the one on amazon. I had the legs cut down 11" also. I have no complaints about the table, it works great. I move between indoor and outdoor brewing for the winter/summer and it...

Missing Banana Esters, what am I doing wrong?

I've been fermenting my all grain Hefeweizen using 3068 at a constant 71 degrees intentionally to bring out banana and they have been producing an awesome banana flavor. Using a basic single infusion at 153 On my 1st generation of washed 3068 at the moment and it tastes as great with just as...

Can anyone confirm or deny that you can harvest yeast from Bell's Two Hearted?

I was just kegging Oberon and secondary transferring the 2 hearted today. They tasted about right without carbonation... as much as you can tell at least. I shall report back in a week after I tap the Oberon

Can anyone confirm or deny that you can harvest yeast from Bell's Two Hearted?

I had my Oberon go from an OG of 1.056 to a FG of 1.08. My 2 Hearted inspired beer went from 1.062 to a gravity of 1.09 when I transferred to dry hop after 12 days. Both were fermented controlled at 68

Can anyone confirm or deny that you can harvest yeast from Bell's Two Hearted?

I used a 1200ml starter at 1.030. It worked great and got more than enough yeast to split 3 ways. I made another starter then and pitched that last weekend and it had my 1.054 batch going strong in 12 hours.

Can anyone confirm or deny that you can harvest yeast from Bell's Two Hearted?

I successfully harvested yeast from Oberon 2 weeks ago, they use the same yeast as 2 hearted from what i have read. You will probably have better luck harvesting from Oberon since it was just released 2 weeks ago and has pretty fresh yeast. I took the last ounce or so from a 6 pack and a...

Building 1st All Grain Rig - Looking for feedback

Thanks for the input, i am concerned about co2 poisoning and will be paying attention to this. I do not have a fireplace/chimney. My furnace and hot water heater are on natural gas and vent outdoor via their own vents. I was going to be careful and try to match cfm's on my intake and outtake air...

Building 1st All Grain Rig - Looking for feedback

Funny you should mention the Blichman burners, I was going to buy 2 of those very same burners with natural gas conversions. One would have the 24" extensions. From what i've speced out that should be just high enough that I can gravity feed my mash tun.

Building 1st All Grain Rig - Looking for feedback

I'm not going to be brewing inside until the (hopefully) late fall. At the moment, i have an fan doing outdoor intake on the (finished) ceiling in the basement room. I was going to be adding the hood in the fall and probably replacing the current intake fan with something more powerful...

Building 1st All Grain Rig - Looking for feedback

Thanks, From what ive read, i can fit between and 24-28# of grain in that cooler, so that would limit me to 5 gallon batches of very high gravity beer, and im ok with that. I wasn't sure if I could pump the wort into valve at the bottom of my boil pan, thanks for pointing that out, i've...

Hello, I've lurked for a while and gotten some good info of the forums. I've been extract brewing for a while and am building my 1st All Grain setup and am looking for some feedback. I've done a good amount of reading and watched some all grain brewing video's and this is what I came up with...
