    Hop storage

I bought a 6oz pellet pack of Willamette hops and it will take me months to use it all up. How should I store the balance that I am not using? Fridge? Freezer? Also I have been using the same hops for starting and finishing. Is this ok and any suggestions to alter this?

    Yeasts

I made 2 batches of beer and the only thing I did different was I used a different yeast in each one. One came out very clear and the other very cloudy. I like my beers to be as clear as possible so can anyone recomend what kind of yeasts I should use?

    How much sugar?

I made a beer that I really liked but it was a tad bitter for me. I did not use any brewing sugar but I think next time I will. Can anyone advise me on how much sugar to add to a 5 gallon batch? Will a tablespoon or 2 be enough?

    22 ounce beer bottles

I have 36 22 ounce beer bottles and no way to carry them. Does anyone know where I could buy 4 pack, 6 pack or even 12 pack carriers? Wood would be ok also. I thought of making some out of wood myself but if I could buy some it would be better for me. Thanks Dan

    Growing Hops?

My wife is a very good gardner and since I am now making my own beer she wants to grow some hops for me. We live in the Chicago area (zone 5 for growing if that means anything to anyone). Does anyone have any thoughts about this? And what kind of hops? How to get started?

    Yeast in beer

Last year I made 19 5 gallon batches of beer and almost all of them had yeast setteling on the botton of my bottles. Now I know you can buy a filter system but I don't have the money for that. Is there anything I can do to remove as much yeast as possible just before botteling?

    clarity

I made a german ale a while back and it is just now ready to drink. The crystal malt I bought was milled too fine. I spent alot of time over the sink shaking the bag because I saw it was too fine. After transfering to the glass carboy, a week later I could still see milling floating, so I...

Sorry I have to ask this again

I am getting some confusing answers so I will start over. I bought a Foster's lager clone kit and after I recieved it I realized that I can't ferment the usual way for a lager because everything is in my basement where it is a constant 66 degrees. The yeast that came with the kit is "White Labs...

    Can my lager ferment warm?

I bought my first lager ( a fosters clone) and after the fact thought about the temp. I can only ferment in my basement where it is a constant 66 degrees. I know that this is ideal for ales but what is going to happen to this lager if it's too warm?
