Show us your sculpture or brew rig

That's exactly what I had to do. I just put it up on the MLT shelf and drain it from there. Not ideal, but I didn't want to make the HLT any higher. I envision a pump system in the future. To pump water up to the HLT from the BK, and to drain/cool the BK.

Here's mine. I put the finishing touches on yesterday, and brewed a fresh hop APA on her last night. Much better than lifting those keggles up and down off of my wifes gardening table. It's powered by 2 high pressure burners and an adjustable regulator from agrisupply.com. The 1" square tube...

    Borracho Beans with chicken

Like most slow cooker recipes, this is great for the working class. Start it in the morning before work, and when you come home, voila, Dinner. I started mine this morning on low. When I got home, it was done, but I poured in a couple of pints of Centennial Blonde, put the cooker on high and...

    Good Summer Wedding Reception Brew?

+1 for BM's Centennial Blonde. Also, it brews/ferments so quickly, if you start it now, you'll have time to brew something else if you don't like it, which I kinda doubt.

    ebay find, stainless kettle

I was just poking around on ebay and found this, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=290262966788&Category=11812&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D2#ht_500wt_1182 Thought somebody might be able to use it for $49. According to my quick goat math, it's around 6 gallons. If...

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

Well, I brewed this as my first AG batch. I used BeerSmith to print out a brew sheet, and everything went really well. Until I added the hops. I accidentally doubled all of the hop additions to .5 oz instead of .25. I tasted the wort from my hydro sample, (1.042) and it's pretty bitter, but...

Brewing on the high desert, Fallon NV

Hi from Fallon, NV. I'm a Navy EOD tech on shore duty, which gives me a little time to enjoy some of the finer things in life, such as homebrew. I started in 2008 with a basic kit from Reno Homebrewer. My first extract batch came out OK, the second, a Sierra Nevada clone even better. The...
