Looking for a good starter batch for a clone of New Belgium Tripel. I'm not the belgian beer type, don't like the fruity stuff so I was hoping someone could point me at a good recipe to build up for the 8% belgian.
Thanks :mug::mug:
I noiticed due to a lack of cold beer and power outage that this is an EXCELLENT brew at higher temps. My wife and I drink a few at around 75 and we both loved it. She hates it cold. The flavor profiles seem to really jump out when its warm.
Try it.
One of the few childhood memories I have is of my father cussin up a storm while cutting a keg top with a dremel, he got it done but it took him forEVER. Cheap grinder or take it by a welding shop and get them to torch it for you.
As for the spears I have encounter kegs that do not have a lock...
One of them actually has the tag still, its a "multiple purpose flexible tub" capacity of 27 liters and its 15"x14" found em in the garden section.
Like I said. 5 bucks, and you can use it as a water jacket to help with temp control.
When getting something cut at lowes or home depot, find the oldest person there. Everytime I get stuck with a 20 year old my cuts end up 1/4 off or so. The yout has no pride anymore
Can't find it on walmart's website but in the garden section they have some totes for $5 a piece with handles that are awesome for carrying carboys. they're a bit bigger around so what I do is move it so site then fill 2/3 up with starsan solution and set my blowoff directly into the bucket. I...
Clearly you have never had to rely on one for day to day use. Great for doing one thing for 5 minutes. Useless in reality. Buy corded tools. Last longer, work better, cheaper. Period.
95% of the time cordless tools should be avoided, they suck. My 10+ year old dewalt tears through SS like it's nothing with basically dull bits 3/16 to 5/16 to 7/16 etc.
