    Advice

    Hey Guys, due to renovations I have been fermenting in our spare bathroom.. Went in this morning and first thing I noticed was the smell... On investigation I found the lid had been slightly popped on my fermenting bucket... I have just done a hydro sample, it's at 1012, so nearly done...

    Mould

    Quick query ! On cleanup after bottling I noticed some mould in spots on the lip of the ferm bucket lid... Sample looked smelt and tasted great... Has anyone else had this happen before... Should I be concerned ? I also washed the yeast for reuse.. Ps brew Sat in primary for a few weeks. Fern...

    Will it be ok ??

    Dropped spoon into wort before yeast was pitched, grabbed it out without thinking... Pretty sure hand was still clean from sanitiser.. Will it be fine ? Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

    Serving temperature

    I have just finished reading an interesting article which said here in Nz we drink our beer far to cold compared to the rest of the world (1-4 degrees) as opposed to 7 plus, even room temp depending on the style in most other countries..and also need to stop drinking from the bottle as we are...

    Temp question

    Quick question, currently brewing mangrove jacks Czech Pilsner, used the pilsner beer enhancer in place of sugar and swapped out the kit yeast for a pack of saflager s 23, brew has been slowly bubbling away at 13 degrees, last couple of days it has jumped up to 15.8 degrees.. The rhino fart...

    First Brew

    New to board and brewing... Mangrove Jack Czech Pilsner, bottled early November... Tastes great !!! Pretty happy for first ever brew..
