Interesting solution. I'll have to do this before i do my final build for stand. A couple more runs and i'll be locked in on how i want to do it. Doing a brewstand and a distillery set up at the same time. 1 controller runs both so i need to keep them close in the same spot.

anyone else having a problem with the pump getting primed? In most cases i have to loosen up the tri clamp. Rotate the pump so it's at like a 45 degree angle.

added a new piece to my BB system. The thermometer fits in the top. the heat element fits in the bottom(with a $20 adapter) so the heat element and controller can be used on both. Hope to give it a run this weekend.

I brewed a batch yesterday. no lid at all. i was teaching someone how to brew kit beers outside. so i was back and forth and just left it off with no condenser boss. it had no issues. maybe get it up to boil. then add the lid/boss. that's what i'll try tomorrow.

I have that condenser boss tool. the lid needs to be on for that to work.
