I never met Charles (aka Big Kahuna) in person, but I feel like I had. There were several years we shared brewing and life knowledge here on HBT together. I wanted someday to meet up for a beer & now that's not going to be possible. So sad. RIP BK. I'll be tossing one down in your honor...

I was serving my beer at the CHUG booth on club night. I had the 3 pale ales made with experimental hops.

Look for people with HBT stickers on their shirts next time. I tried to have one on all 4 days and I'm pretty sure Yooper had hers on as well. We both were handing them out to anyone we knew was on HBT.

I disagree. I got to drive back to blazing F'n hot ass Phoenix. It was like 115 when Sacc & I drove in and it's been over 110 since.

NHC is not about the local breweries. It's about a whole NATION of homebrewers showing off their talents and gaining more experience by sharing ideas amongst one another.

Great seeing everyone this year! As usual I had a blast. I go to these every year for the social camaraderie with you guys, the Zealots, and a few others I've meet only at previous NHCs. Like I said on FB, If NHC were held in ISIS controlled territory, I'd still attend because I love it...

Crap dude! Me & Saccharomyces & a couple others were still rabblerousing around Sunday night. We hit about 4 places around North Park area. We could have used another partner. Sorry. Grab my cell # before next NHC, I usually try to stay a day or so for detox before traveling home.

Crap! I just read this. I was organizing my tour a month ago and this could have been good info......Oh well, I'll check them out in 3 yrs when NHC is back in SD. We did enjoy the BP tour however.
