    Question on adding/replacing GFCI breaker

Right. Right now my options are 1. Replace the breaker w/ a GFCI breaker at the panel ($80 + electrician labor) 2. Spa panel after the dryer outlet (about $110 in parts and I can wire it myself) I'm leaning towards the spa panel as I can take it with me if/when we move out.

    Question on adding/replacing GFCI breaker

OK it's starting to make sense. Another question though, if I'm using a 4 wire dryer cord from the outlet to the spa panel, where does 4th wire go? Thanks for this. This seems like the best way for me to go. Edit: yes it is a 4 wire receptical. Dryer is about 2 years old (house is 7 years...

    Question on adding/replacing GFCI breaker

Running a new line isn't really an option for me here. I looked into a spa panel but everything I read looked like I had to run a new line to it as well. I didnt think about putting one inline. Dont suppose you have any more information on that like a how to or wiring diagram?

    Question on adding/replacing GFCI breaker

I've been researching this all day but I'm stumped. I'm hoping someone here can help answer this question. I want to start building a HERMS system using 240v elements. I have a 4 prong 240v dryer outlet in my garage and don't really want to run a new outlet. The outlet is on a 30a non-GFCI...

Is there a timer that does schedules?

Looking to add a timer to my panel build. I'm looking for something that can possibly set multiple time intervals so I can use it to time mash steps and hop schedule.

Questions on running 2 120v elements on 1 PID

well i was thinking about kicking the pump on and off to pump wort through the HEX as needed when/if the temp drops. After further research it seems it would be better to have the pump run during the whole mash (throttle with a ball valve after the outlet) and just use 1 PID to control the HLT...

Questions on running 2 120v elements on 1 PID

The 2000w will be running off the 20a line and the 1500 off the 15a. I just have to make sure I never get the plugs switched when connecting everything on brew day:drunk:. Although I was considering going w/ 2 1500w elements in the end to give me a bit more overhead on the 20a line for running...
