    RTD Connector

Find a solid rubber plug with the needed O.D. Drill a hole through the plug smaller than the RTD wire. Slice the plug along one side to slip over the cable. It will all squeeze together nicely with the attached cable clamp. Mr. Bill

Only 3 Wires - What can I do?

Don't rule out separating the 120V from the 240V in your control cabinet. You have plenty of AC from that FAU box. A SPA panel does not need a Neutral. 'da Kid

I need some advice from refrigeration experts on chest freezer repair

I'd think the compressors are worn out. The systems are so small with very few connections, leaking is rarely an issue. The problem is we place 10's of pounds of liquid in a freezer designed to freeze a few pounds of fresh food at a time. I will say this. The two wine coolers I use for...

Only 3 Wires - What can I do?

Don, Pulling through flex is never easy. Yours sounds like a two-person job. :D If you find it's a continuous piece, I'd proceed as follows. 1)Remove the fittings on both ends. You have to have a straight shot into/out of the flex. 2) Get some pulling line and attach it to the end of one...

Only 3 Wires - What can I do?

Ding, Ding, Ding . . . . we have a winner. :ban: Give us some info on your present conduit/flex run and we can make some suggestions on pulling that 3rd wire. We also need to make sure we aren't overfilling said run: http://sparkyjohn.com/pipefill/pipefill.pdf Are you over-tightening the...

Only 3 Wires - What can I do?

You're almost there with this line of thinking. Nobadays, you technically do NOT have any 120V in that FAU box. There is 240V with a ground to trip the breaker if a short occurs. Can you separate the 120V circuit in your panel? If so, just wire a connector for an extension cord and plug that...

First saison questions - boil and aging times

Cadi, you might consider a late sugar addition. It will ferment out drier which I always appreciate in a Saison. 'da Kid

These are 1-5/8" 'Kennel Fence Clamps" This pole is 1-1/4" EMT. Might go with 1-1'2" next year as it does flex a bit. I have a cable from the top back to the fence at a 45° angle to help. All cabling is 3/16" vinyl coated. 'da Kid

    2016 Hop Growing Thread

A 2" piece of electrical EMT slipped snugly inside the 2-1/2" corner fence post. Straight, strong and reinforced by the four fence runs. The bolts keep the EMT from sliding down further. It can be easily lifted up and off.
