    Actual fermentation temps

    Hello. I keep my house chilly in summer (69 degrees). I brewed last Monday and pitched at 75 degrees and lidded up. My fermometer strip read 70 degrees and aggressive bubbling started the next day. The temp rose to 72 and overnight it read 74. My question is, how much heat is generated by the...

    NC noob

    Hello brewer world! As I said, I'm a noob with lots of gumption and am impatient and wish I was a pro, but am willing to put in the time to learn. I've brewed one batch if Pilsner from a kit maybe 5 years ago and am looking to get back into it. Can't wait to pick some brains and learn thanks!

    Single infusion mash

    Hey experienced brewers, I'm a noob and this is my first post on these forums. I've brewed only one other batch previous and am excited to pick knowledgeable brains, so please bear with me. What is a single infusion mash @ 150f? Is this steeping the grains? Thanks in advance.
