    No signs of fermentation

Dwait. it is this one https://www.cool-brewing.com/ It works really well. A frozen 1 gallon jug kept the beer too low to ferment about 58-59 and it was lasting 2 days. I let it warm up and then used a 12oz bottle and it was about 68. I am trying a frozen 2 liter to see where that puts me.

    No signs of fermentation

Well Looks like temp was problem. The beer is now sitting stable at 66. No bubbles, but definitely a solid Krausen started. That cool brewing fermentation cooler worked much better than I imagined. it is keeping beer at 66 with just a 12 ounce of frozen water.

Is fermenting too warm really that bad?

The reason I ask is that I am planning a blackberry and orange hef. We leave for vacation for a week, but if I get it brewed friday it will have 13 days in before we leave, but only 3 days with black berryberries being added in at 10 days. So not sure what to do.

Glad to hear yours went well. Mine is still young yet, but after about a week and a half I sampled and it was so bad I dumped it out after 2 drinks. Still young so there is some hope, but I am not holding my breath. I will be doing things completely different for my next attempt at watermelon
