    DIY 28 quart MLT.

    Here is my 28 quart igloo MLT. I used 1/2" cpvc pipe, 90's, T's and ball valve. The brass tube adapter is 1/2" to 3/8". The cooler was $16 from walmart and $10 for all the manifold parts. I will update when I have it all sealed up. Any critiques are greatly appreciated. Sent from my...

    Has anyone ever tried using the ones you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot? How would they do for a batch that wasn't going to be aged?

    I need suggestions!

    Pumpkin ale advise

    I will be brewing a pumkpin ale in mid-august and need some input. Any suggestions on a top-notch kit? I am thinking about the switchblade jack kit from Jasper, but i would like to add an extra pound or 2 of pumpkin. I am open to scratch recipes as well.

    Dry hopping a pale wheat?

    I am brewing a pale wheat today and. I have an extra oz of cascade hops on hand. I won' t be brewing anything for a while when i start my pumpkin beer. So the question is what can i do with it? Dry hop? Store for later? Add it into th boil and make it a wheat IPA?

    How bad did I mess up?

    Help picking a brew

    I am looking something for my first attempt at brewing. Brew day will be June 3rd so I'm thinking an american wheat or a blonde. I want something balanced an not too hoppy but i don't want to make BL or miller either. Any suggestions for an extract recipe? Many thanks in advance!
