German Pils Bo Berry Pils (West Coast Pilsner)

I have made a lot of beer in the last 20 years and I have to say this one is the best. It's also one of the best beers I've ever tasted.

German Pils Bo Berry Pils (West Coast Pilsner)

Exactly as written and I wouldn't change a thing.

German Pils Bo Berry Pils (West Coast Pilsner)

I've only had this in the keg on gas for a week and it's already superb. This is such a nice clean easy drinking beer, it smells and tastes like an excellent ipa except it has less bitterness and it's dry and crisp. I'm thinking this is my favorite beer I've made in over 20 years of homebrewing...

Just kegged this and it smells amazing, I can't wait for it to carb up.

German Pils Bo Berry Pils (West Coast Pilsner)

I made the timbo clone on Monday and cooled to fermentation temp in my chamber until Tuesday. I made a starter for the 34/70 3 times and pitched Tuesday morning, by the afternoon it was already going. By Wednesday it was cranking and this morning it was already slowing down. It already went from...

American IPA Base Pale Ale Recipe for Single hop Beers

I saw your setup and might do something similar. I just poured a full pint and the color looks great but I'm not getting much aroma and it doesn't seem as hoppy as it should be. I was concerned about the age of the hops and the dry hops were all just floating on top of the beer. I'll give it a...

American IPA Base Pale Ale Recipe for Single hop Beers

I have had a pound of whole leaf cascade hops in my freezer for almost 8 years. They were cryovaced and still looked and smelled great so I gave them a try using this recipe. I kegged yesterday and had a terrible time with my autosiphon and it was sucking some air so I fear I'll have some oxygen...

    Florida Pinlock kegs

I have 7 pinlock kegs with 3 gas and 3 liquid disconnects. One of them is missing the large o-ring, I haven't used these in a long time I would assume that they may need all new O-rings. Some do hold pressure still though. $150 for all. Located on Merritt Island FL. right next to the...

    Best beer line cleaner

I had a spiced cider on tap that had cinnamon in it. I did a quick flush with star San before tapping another beer. The new beer tastes like cinnamon and apple. I swapped taps and it's definitely in the lines. It is a pain in the butt to clean beer lines so I'm curious what people recommend. I...

Historical Beer: Kentucky Common "Kiss Yer Cousin" Rye Kentucky Common Ale

Actually in the op the recipe shows the color is 11 but his beer pic is much darker than an 11.

Historical Beer: Kentucky Common "Kiss Yer Cousin" Rye Kentucky Common Ale

Hmm. I made this before on my old 3 vessel system and the beer came out dark like the pics on here. I made it again and adjusted the recipe for my ebiab and the beer is significantly lighter. The srm on brewers friend shows 14.62 but I think its lighter than that. The black patent I used was...

No distilled water available & I want to brew

Publix has distilled water back in stock, I think I'm going to grab 2 gallons at a time until I can get what I need. I want to do the neipa and want my water correct, all those hops are too expensive to make a half assed attempt at it.

No distilled water available & I want to brew

I am not real interested in running out to buy a new water system. I am trying to get by with what I have while this virus is going around. Maybe down the road but not right now.

No distilled water available & I want to brew

Well, now you all got me interested. The Neipa I want to do is braufessors recipe on here. I also do ebiab with an electric clawhammer. Would it be wise to not filter the water so that I what minerals I'm dealing with? When I switched to building my own water all my beer improved.

No distilled water available & I want to brew

I have Camden tablets and a whole house charcoal filter that I can hook up a faucet. I know my water sucks but even if I can clean it up I'm not sure what numbers to put into Brewer's Friend to correct for pH and style.

No distilled water available & I want to brew

I dont have a water softener, that is straight out of the tap. I also don't have any other ingredients and no access to them for awhile. I ordered the ingredients for those three beers right before the virus fiasco and now can't get water. If I have to I just wont brew again until water is...

No distilled water available & I want to brew

Just like the title says, even if I could find the water most places are only letting you buy two jugs and I need about 9 gallons. My water at home is not the greatest but I would still like to try to brew something I am bored to death. I have the ingredients for the following recipes available...

    Help my hefe

Maybe things will be ok, the sulpher seems to be going away.

    Help my hefe

I spent an hour this morning reading about the copper. It wasn't my idea it came from finding a bunch of information that claims that copper is useful in the boil.
