Were you able to get pick any up this year TrustyolJohnson?
The Bloomington friar tuck had a two bottle limit and sold out in 20 minutes. I was lucky this year and got two.

Awesome! Thanks guys! Keep the suggestions coming. I will definitely make a point to stop at the Front Street Brewery and Cape Fear Beer and Wine.
Does anyone know if New Glarus or Dogfish Head distribute in this area?
Hey everyone, I'm planning a trip to NC this summer. I will be in the Leland/Wilmington area. Does anyone have any suggestions for places to visit and beers to try? I'm from Illinois, so even if there is brewery that doesn't distribute there, that I could pick up at a liquor store would be...
Oh man!! Sorry for your loss. Haha. I have been keeping my conditioning beer in Rubbermaids to contain a blast, should I ever have one.
We would all love to see photos if you have them! Thanks!
The name change came about as more "microbreweries" started brewing on larger scales. Companies that outgrew the microbrew set-up couldn't truly be called microbreweries anymore, thus can't call beer microbrews. They started the trend of calling beer "craft". This word still portrays to the...

Thanks for all of the great suggestions! I will have a whole darn list of places to hit this summer. Thanks everyone! And if anyone is ever out my way, I would love to meet you at Destihl for a pint. It's a local brew pub that is in the process of opening a new brew facility for distributing...
I have had many schlafly brews. One of my favorite breweries in fact. I was just wondering if anyone has been there and done the tour. If so, how was it? I would love to see the facility and hear its history.
Ok everyone, I would love some suggestions from your personal experiences. I live in Bloomington, Illinois (literally the center of the state) and I am looking for breweries/brew pubs to tour/eat and drink at. Preferably something that is no more than a 3 hour drive. My wife and I want to do...
