I'm not sure what your question is, but you don't have a choice, you need to replace the plug at least. Are you sure it's a 20A circuit? Does it have 12ga wire? What is the breaker rated for?

I agree. $180 plus ~2 hours time to do what I can do in less than 2 minutes for free, doesn't seem like a difficult decision to make. :mug:
