    Think I have my first contamination.

    Well, 10 batches in and I think I lost one. This is a wheat beer using coopers dry at 16 days. At 14 it looked like the krausen just may not have settled. The bubbles in the pic appeared more recently. Doesn't smell great but idk. Trash?

    Co2 T split = foam?

    Balanced my kegerator to nice results (5 ft beer line, copper tube covering line in tower, 45 degrees at second pour and 12 psi). Seemed all good.     Temp readings - chilling and serving

    I noticed during my last brew that my thermometer measures significant lower against the side then in the middle of my wort when in the ice bath (which is where it wants to sit when the lid is fully covering). Makes sense, I just hadn't thought about it and was therefore pitching at a low temp...

    Beer in airlock

    Hello! So for my first brew attempt I added half the water, boiled, to the fermentor at the beginning then added the wart and tossed it back and forth several times as suggested by the Palmer book I'm using. I ended up with too much and the fermenter nearly exploded! Beer out the airlock...
