    You mean your to-brew list.

    First all grain today

I just tried the first pint of my first all grain batch. Trying it side by side with an extract batch I now notice the "twange" everyone talks about.

    Liberty Cream Ale

I brewed a BB kit and added a small amount of caramel extract to the keg after trying it in a glass after it was carbed. I took the keg to a party/bonfire and it was empty within a matter of 2 hours. Everyone who tasted it (including those who say "I don't drink beer") had several glasses of it.

    Consistenty Hi OGs

Have you checked the calibation of your hydrometer, or accounted for the temperature of the wort/beer?

What did you learn this week?

I learned to label my fermenters. I wasn't paying attention when I racked to keg and racked my pale wheat. I meant to rack a cream ale that was right next to it for a party tomorrow. Talk about surprised when I drew a pint to test it.

A comprehensive list of starting equipment?

I made my own wort chiller for $28. It only has 20ft of copper (.375") but it works.

    would you keg this?

I would rather drink flat beer than risk over carbing another keg myself. I learned the hard way with the very first keg of home brew that it is better to just be patient.

broke the top of the hydrometer off....now what?

I broke one a few weeks ago (rather it committed suicide by rolling off the table) so I bought two when I went to my lhbs.

    Raspberry Infection? No clue... (pics!)

I added 4 lbs of strawberries and 2.5 lbs of rhubarb to a wheat beer. It kicked off a secondary fermentation that took off rather violently.

    Show us your Kegerator

This is my project. I am making a 16" drip tray out of #4 brushed 304 stainless. I'm also thinking of covering the wood with some pre finished steel or aluminum. Btw I am a sheet metal worker who specializes in architectural sheet metal mostly copper. I plan to add a 3rd tap in to this as well...

    Question on kegging

I sold my kegorator and built a keezer with 3 taps (1 commercial 2 ball lock) and 2 kegs.

    My daily noob question

I've taken to using it as a taste sample, so I can learn how the flavor progresses as time goes on.

    Question on kegging

Well guys, I haven't taken the keg plunge yet, but i am going to, It seems like I can get kegging for around 2-300 and have a nice setup with what I already have. I'm probably going to bottle these first two batches on Saturday since I've got the bottles, and they have been in the carboys for...

    Question on kegging

I have a 2.5lb bottle at the moment and my kegorator has a dual regulator on it right now, I just was unsure of prices and didn't want to experience sticker shock when I go to my lhbs to see what they would recommend. I am in the Oklahoma City area if anyone was wondering.
