    Gotta push down on QD's to get gas into keg?

    Well, I just attached some new quick disconnects to a new keg - only heard a very faint sound of gas moving. I pushed the QD down and then heard a much larger sound of gas moving into the keg. The QD is sitting firmly on the post; it won't go any further down, but for some reason, pushing on...

    Going from keg to bottle

    I was kegging a Pumpkin ale, and meant to set aside 6 bottles for a send-off, but totally forgot. I'd assume it'll work, but I figure I'd just ask - if chill and carb the keg, then use the picnic tap to fill the bottles and cap, the beer inside will stay carbed just fine, right?

    Gas line too big for quick disconnect barb?

    Kegging question

    So when I keg, do I have to refrigerate immediately or can I let it condition for a bit? I've got about 200 bottles and I'm real tired of bottling day; looking forward to a quicker way to enjoy some tasty homebrew :ban:
