Looks like it's receding now but there were quite a few closed roads & streets from localized flooding. Most of that was between 6 last night and 6 this morning. I got another 0.6" today to make it an even 5".

24 hours accumulation in central Ohio

Grew up in W. Unity but have been in central Ohio 25+ years. A quick search on American Homebrewers Assn. website has contact info for clubs in Bryan & Wauseon.

I did check with White Labs and they emailed me a copy of the report with a 1-21 date on it. The online public report definitely is showing me 3-21; must be a bug (no pun intended).

Brewed a Vienna lager today. Pitched with a starter of WLP833.

I have a 7 cu. ft. freezer and two 5-gallon carboys easily fit in the deep side.

I have a Kentucky Common boiling now. I plan on entering it in the Ohio State Fair competition assuming all goes well from here on out.

I have a Munich dunkel, helles bock, and pre-pro lager that i brewed on consecutive weekends in January. All are sitting at 32F currently in my chest freezer. Couple of more weeks and I'll start bottling.

I brewed 4.5 gallons of Kentucky Common on the first of the month (OG 1.051), split it into thirds, and pitched the splits with WLP001 California ale, WLP080 Cream ale, and WLP810 San Fran lager. Fermented at 62-63F. I thieved some samples a few days ago; the refractometer corrected gravities...

I've had most of them at one time or another. All very good... Columbus Brewing makes some really solid brews. They have displaced Great Lakes as my favorite Ohio beer to take home from the grocery store.
