Using a Vaporizor to flavor hops?>????

Some of it is important lol if you dig on the scientific background. I have done lots of research after one batch of my beer was not as clear as i wanted even though i added a clarifying agent during my secondary, thats when i found out that each protein coagulation produces negative and...

Using a Vaporizor to flavor hops?>????

Cheezydemon3 the vaporizor is a very intriguing machine. How it works is at extracts flavors (or pure thc in the netherlands) and tempuratures that you control. You first start out around 140 degrees and work your way up to 200 or higher depending on what your machine goes to. As far as my ion...

    Vanilla beans question

Pcollins: You have an excellent point. The post i made was reffering to theory and what I have expierenced in a restaurant and bar atmosphere when steeping our own liquors. The best part about cooking (and brewing) is there is not one single way to do somethng, neither is a way right or wrong...

    Vanilla beans question

I've actually read it in a book called The Science of the Kitchen. That is a general rule for most vinalla beans...(i've also learned by trial and error steping different ingredients in liquor) If you have the real good vanilla beans ( i e madagascar) they are very potent and you shouldn't have...

    Vanilla beans question

Hey guys heres just random throw outs from a chef....longer time you soak vanila beans they will become bitter. The most flavor extraction of vanila should not be more than 72 hours. I hope my little tid bit of information helps future brewers...also remember if your using ingriedents like...

Starting a tier build...any advice would be greaty appriciated

Okay interesting prospectives to think about. I re did some of my planing and the botom shelf will now be about desk height so i can drain right into fermentor. As far as my lauter tun yet, i'm not sure if im going cooler route or kettle with a false bottom. My goal is to have water flowing from...

Starting a tier build...any advice would be greaty appriciated

You proved an excellent point. It does defeat the pupose. Right now im drawing and planing, i just read reviews on a three tired system. I just want to let gravity (or pump) do the work so i don't have to lift anything (since i'll be brewing bymyself) How do you like your single tier system? I'm...

Starting a tier build...any advice would be greaty appriciated

Hello fellow brewers. My wife finaly gave me the go ahead to build my three tiered brew system. I have brewed numerous times in the past so i'm not worried bout that, my concern is building the system from scratch. I have done my research and have seen what some have built. My first set up is...
