    Equipment needed for a weekend?

Yeah, I suppose that's all I'd need, and would just have to thread the hoses to my existing coupler. Maybe I don't think anything besides a couple hoses and a pour spout.

    Equipment needed for a weekend?

I'm the best man in a bachelor part coming up in a couple weekends. We're traveling about 600 miles away in a fully packed vehicle. My question is, I have a kegerator at home, and would like to put together a traveling kegerator. Basically, would like to keep the keg pressurized, likely just...

    Hose length and size?

I'm gettin new hoses for my kegerator. It's a 4.3 cuft fridge. I plan on running the gas line out to a tank hanging on the side of the fridge, but the beer line will stay inside. What size and lengths are suggested for beer and gas line for my application?

    Help with modifying kegerator

I want to restart this thread because I'm ready to pop a hole in it for my gas line. Does anyone know where or have examples of what they've done to put their gas line to the outside of their kegerator? I'd like to do something with quick disconnects on a 5/16" line. I can find shanks do do...

For sale 20 lb co2 tank

I’ve acquired a 20 pound steel CO2 tank from my brother. The tank is a bit large for my application and I’d like to have smaller tanks, with some backups. The tank is about half full. The handle is also broken, but is still operable. I’m looking to get $100 for this tank or a...

Here's a few pics showing the inside of my fridge. If anyone can tell from these pics the safe areas I could drill, please let me know. Picture of the left/back/right of the fridge Pic of the left wall Pic of the top right. Wire running towards top right of the pic is the power to the...

Tower cooler fan and elec help

Alrighty, so only after finally posting this, did I start to find some builds. It looks like I may need to buy some smaller fans. I found a pretty good build page, but I'm still confused on the 3 wires from the fans. I know that I can tie 2 fans to 1 power supply as long as the addition of the...

Tower cooler fan and elec help

I currently have an old computer fan on the bottom ledge of my kegerator helping with air circulation inside. I would like to purchase another fan, build a tower cooler from a hobby box, tie the 2 fans together with 1 plug, and call it a day. I've attached a pic of what I'd like to do. I want to...

    Help with modifying kegerator

Someone in another thread suggested that most mini fridges that have the plate cooler in the back of the fridge will not have any coolant lines in the side walls. Does anyone have the frosty keg and have modified it?

    Help with modifying kegerator

I googled for fittings and found links to this guys mod where he put it into another room. I basically want to do the same thing, but find these type of fittings that I can setup on the kegerator wall in a location I can hopefully find to drill through to the inside. Anyone know the name of...

    Help with modifying kegerator

Thanks for the help. I emailed the supplier that I got the kegerator from. I'm hoping they can send me a safe drill spot diagram. I would think this is something that someone's got to have. There's all kinds of bulkheads out there, but most are for permanent installation of hose, not screw type...

    Help with modifying kegerator

My groomsman all bought me a Frosty Keg Kegerator from Great Northern Popcorn Company a year ago. After only 9 months, the seals went bad on the included CO2 tank and I didn’t know what to do. My brother who’s going to be graduating from college offered me his 20 lb tank and I had to...

    Co2 pressure in tank

I have a 5lb co2 bottle and I'm plan On hooking up a 1/2 barrel tonight. When I open the valve, I read 20 lbs on my regulator. Should I go with that or get it refilled just in case.

    Rust in MLT

I built a cooler a but ago and built my own MLT as pictured below. I water seal tested it and it came out fine. Just the other day I was moving things around and I noticed rust in the cooler. Everything I used was stainless. Should I just replaced the rusted parts?

    Graff (Malty, slightly hopped cider)

Problem number 2 with my botched batch, the blowoff tube blew out sometime in the last 10 hours. I put the tube back in and taped it down. Within 1 minute it started bubbling again. I'm assuming I'm ok still?
