For Sale Complete All Grain Setup - Bethlehem PA

Hey everyone, I haven’t brewed in too long and at this point I need to make some space. Up for grabs is the following equipment and it is priced to move. I have a lot of additional things not listed that can be included as well, it should be everything you need to get started (or upgrade) for...

Show me your cheap electrical enclosure

Thanks, this one is plastic. I used hole saws for all of the circles, for the rectangles i drilled out the four corners and cut the straight lines with a jig saw.

    Nottingham Yeast

I've had similar problems with some 12/2011 packets. I've ruled out process as I've been using Notty almost exclusively over the past 2 years. Brewed an 11gal batch of nut brown, pitched 1 re-hydrated pack into each carboy. I had no signs of activity after 24 hrs so i added some more oxygen...

    march pump switches

No, but be aware that those switches are only rated for 12V DC, your pumps will be running 110V AC, you would not want to use this to control your pumps

March Pump: Is this a good one?

I just got an 809 from usapumps last week off of ebay. It was the inline 809-PL-HS with a polysulfone head, pump was food grade and rated to 250F for $114 shipped. I just checked back and the seller has some pumps, but none of the 809s right now, maybe he'll add more later

Parts Vendor Review - Murray Equipment

Sorry to hear about your experience with them, I recall when i ordered a bunch of SS fittings/pipe from them for my heat exchanger the delivery was pretty quick, maybe 3-4 days. There was an issue with picking on my order, they sent me 2x 1/2" Tees instead of the 2x 1_1/2" tees that i ordered...

    Motor for Grain Mill

I just got this 1/2" drill the other week on sale for $32 at Harbor Freight. Its model # 93632. I cant speak for its longterm durability yet, but I've used it once so far and ran 31lbs of grain through it in 1 shot with no issues. Providing it holds up it worked pretty well. Its got a...

    120v HLT

Yes, with insulation it should be doable, but so is filtering all of your brew water with a Brita pitcher - for over a year i filtered all of my brewing water with a faucet mount filter, it sucked but it did the trick. Upgrading to a whole house water filter in my brewery was like trading in a...

    120v HLT

I'm also thinking it won't be enough, especially with out insulation. Back of the envelope calculation with no losses puts it at 75mins, thats 2000W in, bringing 10gal of water from 68F-170F. If your system is not insulated you will be fighting the conductive nature of your big aluminum pot...

    Getting The Banjo Lit

After some fiddling I figured it out. I had to reduce the amount of air the burner was taking in at the inlet(where the propane line is attached). When its turned down it makes a larger, wider flame and thus ignites the entire burner.

    Getting The Banjo Lit

Hey All, I'm in the middle of my brew rig build and i've got a question about lighting the banjo burner. I cant seem to get the thing lit by putting the lighter in 1 location, i have to wave it all around the burner above all the jets to get it going, is that normal? If i get it lit in 1...
