    BIAB brew stand with hoist and pump

    The hoist on mine does swing, I took a piece of round pipe, and welded it into a piece of square tubing, to create a dowl pin effect. And added a plate on each end, so the 2 surfaces would glide nicely together. As for the hoist, I use a cheap cable hand winch from harbor freight.

    My stand is doing great, my efficiency is usually right around 77%, brew day is a breeze, i also have used it as a camping stove, and as a turkey fryer, i love this thing.

    I didnt use any extract, I threw in a half ounce of hops, Im kegging tomorrow, so that little time on the hops shouldnt overpower it. hopefully It will bring it back to balanced. Were tailgating this saturday, so I gotta keg tomorrow :off:

    my hoist arm is removeable to get through doors as well, just slips on and off, no tools required.

    but then wouldn't your efficiency drop? that would mean no stirring during the mash.
