ok here we go folks me first hard cider i used the following
SG was 1.058
5 gallons treetop apple juice
2 cans treetop consintrate
2.5 teaspoons of pectic emzyme
and 1 pack of notty
gonna check gravity ever couple days till it gets to 1.010 or so then add another can of consintrate at...
sup folks im 1 extracted brew and 1 Ag into brewing on my ag i got 72% bhe but i also pulled what i think is a classic noobie move and figured 3 degrees in mash was not a big deal now i know different is there a way to bring back up my abv with out ruining the flavors its a chocolate oat stout...
this maybe stupid and already asked im just now planning my 2nd batch, but in the description for wy1084 it state that complex esters will increase when fermentation is above 64f, what exactly is a complex ester
