    bummer its a stout so I wanted to let it age at least 2 months maby 3. I guess Ill shoot for 2 and see how they taste.

    temp is ambient so 75-80 I dont have a basement. og was 1.065. It was very fast as all my cider/beers are. safale s-04 was used

    I am almost sure I ruined my beer. I made a stout and transferd it to my bottling bucket from my mr beer keg (basically a bottling bucket) I just let the beer splash on the bottom of the bucket (20" drop) until the mr beer keg was empty. There were a lot of bubbles in the bottling bucket...

    awesome thanks for the input! How often do you suggest checking for carb 12 hours or like 2 days? Anyone else?

    This is my second cider the first one was to dry. My plan is to bottle and pasteurize after the correct co2 levels are reached. My ciders is on the second day of primary fermentation and the Gravity is 1.020 so I cold crashed and want to bottle tomorrow with 4.5 TBS of cane sugar then check...

    Cool thanks for the help guys. Anyone else input is appreciated. what do you guys think my chances of bottel bombs are if I prime with the recommended amount of sugar?

    Hey guys this is my 3rd brew first complex one I used a MR Beer recipe and added hops, grain and DME. Today is day 15 for fermenting and its reads 1.010 started at 1.061. Question is should I bottel it now or wait 2 days and see if it has changed? It tastes great which was a surprise...
