    kegging a high FG?

    I recently brewed a nice strong ale SG @ 1.070, and after 2 weeks it is at 1.030. Im a little worried about it not meeting the "recomended" FG of 1.018-1.014.     stuck!

    My recent batch (choc. raspb. stout) has been stuck at 1.030 even after adding more yeast. The batch started out being 1.058 and went great till the third day which it just stopped.     so far ive brewed kits. not that theres anything wrong with em but i think i would enjoy creating mroe of my own thing. whats the next step...do i just buy grains and hops or is it that u start from a specific malt and work from there.

    air into the secondary

    i havent checked my barleywine in about 2 days, and i just noticed the airlock didnt have enough water in it...stupid me. its about 1 week into the secondary, dry hopping. what can happen?

    i have a barleywine that calls for 3 oz. nugget(bittering) 2 oz Cascade(flavor) and 1oz contennial(dry). do i add the dry to the very end of the boil, to the primary fermenter, or secondary? thanks
