Take them out of the planters. My hops are only a year old and their roots are thicker than a quarter and expand at least 7 feet out from the vine. They are a durable plant, and aggressive. Just fertilize and watch the watering, control the bugs and they will flourish. :mug:

You can make effective fungicides at home, they're ridiculously priced if you buy them at the store. I wouldn't fertilize too much, only thing I've done is sprayed miracle grow once this year. I'd say do it once and see how they react, you have to let them grow. If you spray anything I'd make...

Looks like mold to me. Mix up some baking soda, vegetable oil, and water and spray at dusk. Wont hurt anything if it's not mold. I sprayed mine and it fixed the problem right up. As someone mentioned earlier it does appear that they have some nutritional deficiencies.

Is it the yeast or the hops? I want to brew a pale that tastes more like Hop Notch or West Coast IPA(Green Flash) but without the bitterness. I personally love them hoppy but I want to brew something for my friends/family that tastes great but is more subtle on the palate. Any suggestions?

It looks like it could be. Do you see any powdery residue anywhere on the leaves? I'd start by pruning the effected areas. Have you applied any type of fungicide? It shouldn't kill the plant but it will affect your harvest if you don't treat it.
