    Gusher Bug Question

    My pumpkin beer is way over carbonated and continues to get worse so I'm thinking gusher bug. If it is a gusher bug shouldn't the gravity be lower than pre-bottling or would it not be measurable?

    Fermenter blew off a ton of yeast. Can I harvest it?

    I brewed a modified version of Yooper's 60min IPA DFH clone last Sunday. It had a OG of 1.075. I pitched 1056 (stepped up 2L starter from a smack pack) at about 70 deg.     Wyeast 3787 Fermenting Very High

    I pitched 3787 to a Northern Brewer extract tripel kit yesterday and it is fermenting at 78 deg F now when the room temp is at 66 deg. I pitched to it at 65 deg F and it started fermenting furiously in less than 12 hrs. Is this typical of 3787? Planning on trying to cool it down to 75 deg...
