    How much can rhizomes stay alive during shipping?

    sent some to Texas last year, got the wrong address and three weeks later they came back. Sure they were not kept cool, planted them all 12 came up and did great.

    I would recommend buying your rhizomes directly from a farm to remove the middle man, oh also one that's a HBT vendor!

    Digging up first year rhizomes a good idea?

    Leave the baby in the ground for now. When you move take it with you and replant it after you trim the rhizomes it has (not the roots)

    If the hops did develop seeds under some form of stress the seeds would not be able to germinate.

    you'll be fine most of ours are all still in the burr stage trasitioning over to cones.

    Beetle problem

    if its Japanese beetles you've got a day or two before they eat your whole plant. Picking them off would work until more fly in and then you'll repeat over, and over. Get yourself some Seven from your local garden center and be done with it.

    stay on them with your neem oil and picking them off. They will call in friends when they find food (like hops) that they like.
